Congratualations to DFEi Creative Digital Media Production Graduate and DFEi Advanced Certificate in Film & Television Production student, Dominic Andoni on his sucess in the Waterford International Film Festival on the 27th of November 2022. Dominic won the Best Short Screenplay category with his script " Catalina".
DFEi Festive Pets Picture competition 2022 is now open. Submit your entries via the upload link in the Student Council Area on DFEi moodle by 12pm Monday the 12th of December 2022 Please avoid causing any distress to your pets in staging your photo.
The students in the DFEi Health Department will be running another shoe box appeal this December for Focus Ireland. Focus Ireland are asking for non-perishable food items, new clothing for children and warm and practical hats, scarfs, gloves, socks and underwear for adults. Toiletries are always in demand. There will be a collection box at reception to drop any donations into from the 28th of November. All donations need to be in by 14th December
Science and Business/Law students joined forces today to apply their super sleuth brains to the assassination of JFK. Thanks for a great session on forensics from Forensic Fun. We love to see our students apply theory to practice and have a bit of a giggle in the process.
Hugely enjoyable tournament organized by Business and Marketing students. The final clash was Sound Engineers V Construction Students (AKA the Bricks). The "bricks" in red took the trophy. Thanks to all the student teams who participated, their supporters and the teachers who came along.

Smart Dun Laoghaire are looking for students to participate in their Trendhuters programme. This programme is all about looking at ways that Dublin can adapt to climate change and how we can best communicate issues to young people. DFEi students can sign up for innovative and exciting work experience, and maybe be a catalyst in the future of Dun Laoghaire.
