Graduation

Each September, Dublin College Dún Laoghaire graduates join their teachers and local dignitaries in the Royal Marine Hotel for the formal presentation of certificates. This is a chance to mark your successes, gown-up and invite family or friends to celebrate with you. An award is presented to all ‘Graduate of the Year’ students, chosen from each class group.

Student Activities

Student activities at Dublin College Dún Laoghaire are as diverse as our student body itself. Our student canteen – is regularly home to student gigs and other events such as table quizzes and cultural celebrations. Our students have shown themselves to be adept at staging events and raising money for worthy charities such as the DSPCA and St Vincent De Paul. Whatever course you pursue you will have the chance to put yourself forward for election onto the Dublin College Dún Laoghaire Student Council and to organise social nights and other student events.

Visit The Canteen where there are facilities for heating food and Hot drinks. The Learning Centre will provide a calm, studious environment where you can use computer/printing facilities to conduct research or complete assignments. Books relevant to your course are also available here. At Dublin College Dún Laoghaire you will also benefit from state-of-the-art facilities relevant to your chosen course, for example a dedicated animal grooming studio, a fully-fitted radio studio, TV studio, Photography Darkroom and an electronics laboratory.
