Tommy received his award at the first Irish BTEC Higher National Awards, which took place in the Gresham Hotel on Thursday 29th November. Patrick Wall and Paddy O’Halpin from DFEi’s music department were delighted to represent the college at the Awards. Tommy was there along with his parents, who were absolutely thrilled with the award. Tommy is now studying in Ballyfermot College Further Education, on the one-year top-up course leading to an honours degree in Media Production Management. He’s also doing very well as a DJ and music producer.

DFEi was delighted to welcome our Erasmus+ teaching partners from Estonia and Norway to our college recently. This was part of a DDLETB Erasmus+ teacher exchange programme. During their visit to our college the group was briefed on our range of business courses, they observed classes, spoke to business, journalism and politics students, and they shared their experiences of teaching in their respective countries.
Eoghan represented DFEi in the EU Commission sponsored event "Vocational Educational Skills Week".
