The level 6 Animal Health Care students enjoyed a trip to the Irish National Stud in Kildare where they got a guided tour of the stud and learned about the ideal horse conformation and breeding programme at the stud. We met some of they’re top class Stalllions and got to see they’re foaling unit and judge a mare in foal on conformation.

Rory's new EP just launched on Spotify is already gaining followers from Seattle to India. The Wicklow News this week features Rory and tracks his recent success in the world of electronic music production (EDM). Congratulations to Rory. The future is looking bright.
Congratulations to Rebecca. As a Climate Ambassador Rebecca will be part of a national network of young people that will try to make meaningful action and positive changes. As a start Rebecca suggests DFEi have more recyling facilities for students and for teachers to cut down on handouts.
Tiglin is a charity that works with homeless people. Our healthcare students and teachers made up over 50 practical gift boxes. Thank you to all students and staff who contributed.
Well done to all the Animal Heathcare students who raised over €1500 for charity. As well as Santa Paws, students organised a Cake Sale a "Shave or Dye" and a Doggie Walk down the West Pier. Fantastic work.
Great fun last Wednesday at DFEi Soccer Tournament, organised by PR5 students. Well done to all those who partipated and congrats to students from Science who took the trophy.
